Dr. Melitza Lopez joined IMA Medical Group (IMA) in 2022 as a primary care physician. She is focused on providing medical services, including preventive medicine, routine care, and diagnosis and treatment of acute diseases. Dr. Lopez is responsible for patients at the East Colonial location.
Before joining IMA, Dr. Lopez worked as a primary care physician and skilled nursing physician in other medical groups in Florida and for several clinics and hospitals in Puerto Rico.
Dr. Melitza Lopez earned her medical degree from Universidad Central Del Caribe, Bayamon, Puerto Rico, in 2007. She is fluent in both English and Spanish.
