Dr. Casta joined IMA Medical Group (IMA) in 2016 as a primary care physician. She achieved IMA Partner status in April 2023. This is a special recognition for her exceptional clinical performance, dedication to our patients, and ongoing commitment to loyalty and longevity in the organization.

With over twenty years of experience practicing medicine, Dr. Casta's medical expertise has primarily been focused on general medicine and primary care. Before joining IMA, she worked as a primary care physician for several medical centers in Puerto Rico.

Dr. Mayra Casta was born in Puerto Rico and completed her bachelor’s degree in biology at the University of Puerto Rico in 1994.  Then, she went to medical school at Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara and graduated in 1999. She is fluent in both English and Spanish.
