Dr. Marielis Pedroza joined IMA Medical Group (IMA) in 2020 as a primary care physician. She achieved IMA Partner status in April 2023. This is a special recognition for her exceptional clinical performance, dedication to our patients, and ongoing commitment to loyalty and longevity in the organization.
She is a highly qualified Board-Certified Doctor in General Medicine with more than twelve years of experience in hospital and clinical settings. Before joining IMA, Dr. Pedroza worked as a general practitioner at multiple hospitals and medical practices in Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic. Her expertise extends to working with a diverse range of patients, including those with psychiatric conditions, elderly individuals, as well as minority and low-income populations.
Dr. Marielis Pedroza was born in Puerto Rico and earned her medical degree at Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra in the Dominican Republic in 2006. She is fluent in both English and Spanish.
