Dr. Juan Carlos Escandon joined IMA Medical Group (IMA) in 2013 as a primary care physician. He achieved IMA Partner status in April 2023. This is a special recognition for his exceptional clinical performance, dedication to our patients, and ongoing commitment to loyalty and longevity in the organization.

Dr. Escandon has specialized training in sleep medicine, having completed a sleep medicine fellowship at Cleveland Clinic - Sleep Disorders Center. Before joining IMA, he worked as a family medicine physician and sleep specialist at various healthcare facilities.

Born in Colombia, Dr. Juan Carlos Escandon graduated from the Juan N. Corpas School of Medicine in Colombia and studied Family Medicine at MetroHealth in Cleveland, Ohio. He is fluent in both English and Spanish.
