Dr. Joel Gonzalez joined IMA Medical Group (IMA) in 2016 as a primary care physician. He achieved IMA Partner status in April 2023. This is a special recognition for his exceptional clinical performance, dedication to our patients, and ongoing commitment to loyalty and longevity in the organization.
Before joining IMA, Dr. Gonzalez worked for the Public Health Service (PHSA) and held various positions, including medical director and emergency room physician.
Dr. Joel Gonzalez was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and earned his medical degree from Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara in 2001. He is fluent in both English and Spanish.
