Dr. Gwendolyn Henson joined IMA Medical Group (IMA) in 2020 as a primary care physician, bringing extensive experience in family medicine. She achieved IMA Partner status in April 2024. This is a special recognition for her exceptional clinical performance, dedication to our patients, and ongoing commitment to loyalty and longevity in the organization.

After graduating from medical school, she went to New York and participated in the Fifth Pathway. From there, she found herself in Puerto Rico where she did 1 year of social service, and then the pandemic brought her to Tampa Bay, where she has been practicing medicine for the last few years.

Dr. Gwendolyn Henson is from Kentucky and earned her medical degree from the Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara in Mexico in 2011. She speaks English and Spanish.
