Dr. Betzy Acevedo joined IM A Medical Group (IMA) in 2016 as a primary care physician. She achieved IMA Partner status in April 2023. This is a special recognition for her exceptional clinical performance, dedication to our patients, and ongoing commitment to loyalty and longevity in the organization.
She began her medical career in 2004 running her own medical office. Before joining IMA, Dr. Acevedo worked as a primary care physician and gained valuable experience as an emergency room physician in Puerto Rico. Later, she moved to Florida and started working with IMA.
Dr. Betzy Acevedo was born in Puerto Rico and obtained her medical degree from Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara, Mexico, in 2003. She is fluent in Spanish and English.
