Dr. Aixa Lajara joined IMA Medical Group (IMA) in 2016 as a primary care physician. She achieved IMA Partner status in April 2023. This is a special recognition for her exceptional clinical performance, dedication to our patients, and ongoing commitment to loyalty and longevity in the organization.
Prior to joining IMA, Dr. Lajara served as a primary care physician at an ambulatory center. She also acquired valuable experience as a physician at a family medical practice in Puerto Rico.
Dr. Aixa Lajara was born in Puerto Rico and earned her medical degree from Universidad de Guadalajara in Mexico in 2012. She is fluent in both English and Spanish.
