Dr. Tomás Ferrer joined IMA Medical Group (IMA) in 2015 as a primary care physician. He achieved IMA Partner status in April 2023. This is a special recognition for his exceptional clinical performance, dedication to our patients, and ongoing commitment to loyalty and longevity in the organization.
After graduating, he was invited to work with Doctors Without Borders in Chile. Before joining IMA, he worked as a general practitioner and family medicine doctor at several healthcare facilities in Mexico and Miami. He is a physician highly trained in emergency pediatrics, internal medicine, family practice, and surgery. In addition, he has specialized training in Emergency Medicine and ICU cardiac care.
Dr. Tomás Ferrer was born in Cuba and earned his medical degree in 1992 from the Higher Institute of Medical Sciences in Villa Clara, Cuba. He is fluent in both English and Spanish.
